4th Iowa Independent Battery of Light Artillery, USA " Williams' Battery"

4th Iowa Independent Battery of Light Artillery, USA " Williams' Battery" The 4th Iowa Independent Battery of Light Artillery, USA , is a group of men who provide Military Honors for the Union dead of the War Between the States.

It was renamed "Williams' Battery" on Octobr 15, 2019 in Memory of Cpl.John N. Williams. The 4th Iowa was started by members of the Orange Light Artillery, 40th NC Troops, CSA, "Patterson's Battery" as a off shoot per numerous request for a Federal Impression. The 4th Iowa has been well received by the public to date and does at least one event per year-Memorial Service at the Federal dead Section, Salisbury National Cemetery. The Unit has been in two (2) battle re-enactments in 2014 and 2016.
