A happy moment at the Smith ACM Center this morning! A monarch butterfly had fluttered into our building and was resting (dying, we feared) on a ledge high up. A few sprigs of goldenrod coaxed her down this morning. She's making up for lost time on a butterfly bush outside the lobby door, where she's supposed to be. 🦋

Join us tonight at 6pm for our free Monday Night Dinner in the ACM! There will be fun, fellowship, and a free nacho bar! To-go boxes will be available, but feel free to bring your own. All are welcome, so bring a friend, and hang around afterwards for our Monthly Monday Movie Night!
We hope to see you there! Always remember that you are loved!

Friends, we are very sad to share that Dr. Gary Grandon, a former Smith Associated Campus Ministries Board member and strong supporter who was also instrumental in the early days of the center, has passed away. His generosity and passion helped transform the lives of many UNCG students. Our deepest condolences to his wife Jane and all of the family. May his memory be for a blessing.

We need your help!

The SOP gets less than half of the food we need from sources like the Second Harvest Food Bank and our donation boxes. Each week, we purchase items like milk, butter, snacks, and other needed food. With rising need and rising prices, we can't afford to buy that additional food.

Please consider giving today to ensure that no Spartan goes hungry.

Visit spartanmosaic.org/give to make a one-time gift or set up a recurring donation to sustain us through the semester and beyond.

Join together with our Spartan community this Thursday to mark World Su***de Prevention Day. Decorate luminaries from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on College Ave. near the Stone Building. Then join together at 8pm as we light the luminaries and hold a vigil for those whose lives have been touched by su***de.

Remember that you matter. Your story matters. You are worthy of love. You are not alone.

If you are struggling, please know that you can reach out to Counseling and Psychological Services, Spartan Well Being, the Dean of Students, or any Spartan Mosaic staff member. We are here to listen. We are here to help.

You can also call 988 any time to talk and get help if you need it.
