Her Highness is a non-profit organization, founded by Columbus County native, Tatyana Faulk-Frink, established to educate, empower, and elevate! Her Highness was incorporated in the state of North Carolina on March 13, 2015, and based in the Columbus County, NC locale for six years from 2015-2021. In August 2021, the organization relocated to the NC Triad, and we are piloting an expansion to the N
C Triangle (Raleigh Metro) and Charlotte metro in January 2024. During the summer of 2015 (August 1-August 7), Her Highness, Inc. sponsored its first week-long program for girls in Columbus County, ages 13-18. Using a mentorship system of young women mentors who are natives of Columbus County, Her Highness' Summer Extravaganza examined contemporary issues surrounding the girls of today; offered educational forums on college prep; discussed health issues pertinent to women, as well as addressed many other concerning subjects. We have since held 4 other Summer Extravaganza programs, College Resource fairs, Women in STEM/Medicine virtual event, nursing home and jail outreach, youth entrepreneurship pitch program, women's empowerment and mother-daughter brunches, family Christmas assistance, annual scholarships AND MORE! All of our events, programs, and services are FREE. All in all, we hope to change the status of our NC communities, starting with the future of tomorrow: the youth of today!
