Papagayo was our home away from home during Camp Isla® Curaçao! ☀️🌴💙

We could not have asked for more incredible partners than . Their generosity, hospitality, and belief in our mission helped make our first Camp Isla® Curaçao possible.

Because of their gracious sponsorship, we were able to award two scholarships to gymnasts this year! And we’re proud to continue expanding access by awarding two full scholarships for Camp Isla® Curaçao 2027!

Partnerships like these are about so much more than accommodations. They are about creating opportunities, removing barriers, and making gymnastics more accessible to athletes who deserve the chance to thrive.

To the entire Papagayo team, thank you for welcoming us, supporting our vision, and helping us make an impact that will extend far beyond this year’s camp.

We truly could not have done it without you! 💙

There’s nothing like seeing yourself in the sport you love.

At Camp Isla and the BGDG Conference, Brown Girls get to train with coaches who look like them, connect with other gymnasts from different backgrounds, and learn about opportunities both in and beyond gymnastics.

It’s more than a gymnastics experience. It’s an experience they’ll carry with them. ✨

The BGDG Conference is more than gymnastics.

It’s a place where Brown Girls can be surrounded by other gymnasts who look like them, share similar experiences, and understand what it means to grow in this sport, learn from experts, and take home valuable knowledge.

Come for the gymnastics. Stay for the community. ✨

Some of the most important information you’ll get at Conference may be the information you didn’t even know you needed.

There are things gymnasts experience that are so specific to the sport, they may not think to mention them. And as parents, we may not know the questions to ask.

That’s part of what BGDG Conference brings to our families: access to experts, conversations, and information that help us better understand and support our gymnasts.

Come learn with us.
