The second annual Law and the Prophets Symposium will be co-hosted by Elon Law and West Market Street United Methodist Church. This year’s theme explores what it means to be a neighbor - from civic, legal, and religious perspectives - and how those understandings relate to individuals experiencing housing insecurity in Greensboro. Together, we will examine where faith and law intersect and ask: What are our duties to one another as neighbors?

On Friday, October 24, 2025, Partners Ending Homelessness convened its inaugural Turning Point Symposium at The Conference Center at GTCC in Colfax, North Carolina. The event brought together advocates, service providers, community leaders, and individuals with lived experience of housing insecurity. The symposium aimed to spark honest dialogue, dismantle barriers, and ignite actionable change in the fields of homelessness and housing insecurity.

If you are experiencing literal homelessness and need assistance connecting to local resources, please visit our Coordinated Entry Access Points.

📍Our agency is only able to conduct Coordinated Entry assessments and address related inquiries at our access points. We are unable to provide other services outside of this scope.

Next week’s Access Points are scheduled for:

• 10/28/2025 from 9:00AM until 11:00AM at the Community Café at High Point Public Library (901 N. Main Street, ) - Please arrive by 9:30AM to complete an assessment.

• 10/29/2025 from 8:30AM until 10:30AM at the Cultural Arts Center (200 N. Davie Street, Greensboro) - Please use the entrance on the lower level between LeBauer Park and Friendly Avenue. The door faces the parking deck for the library. Please arrive by 10:00AM to complete an assessment.

📍Non-English speakers seeking assistance should contact FaithAction International.

📍Individuals in local detention centers should notify detention center staff if they are experiencing homelessness.

📍Continue to check our social media pages for information about additional access points that are being established throughout .
