The Magnet Academy at Alhuda Katsina

A visit to the historic Gobarau Minaret 🕌✨

For our Eid Day 2 excursion, the children had the opportunity to visit the iconic Gobarau Minaret in Katsina , one of the oldest surviving symbols of Islamic scholarship and Hausa heritage in West Africa. Built over 500 years ago, this remarkable landmark served as a center of learning, worship, and knowledge for generations of scholars.

As we explored this historic site, our children were reminded of the rich Islamic legacy that came before them and the importance of seeking knowledge.

May Allah allow them to follow in the footsteps of the great scholars who once studied here and make them among the righteous leaders of tomorrow. Ameen. 🤲🏾

Today we purchased 2 cows for Qurbani to help provide fresh meat for orphans, widows, and families in need this Eid Al-Adha. For many, this may be the only time all year they eat meat.
