Ntibonera Foundation

Ntibonera Foundation A non-profit organization dedicated to bring hope to the people of Congo The three brothers are from a family of eleven people.

Ntibonera Foundation is a non-profit Christian organization that was founded by three brothers- Emmanuel, John and Baraka who are students at Liberty University. The reason they named the foundation under their last name is because "Ntibonera" itself means a surprise in a good way, and they want the work of the foundation to be wonderful surprise to people that have lost hope in the Democratic Rep

ublic of Congo and to Africa as a whole. They are four brothers, five sisters and their parents. Escaping the war in the Congo, they were not allowed to look behind and help others because of the danger of being killed themselves. Now, the Ntiboneras are in a position to look behind and help somebody. They are a living testimony and they are determined to go to every corner of this world to testify to what the Lord has done for their family. Being driven by the scripture of Matthew 25:40, "The King will reply, 'Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me". The family shares their message and the Love of Christ through their music. The "Ntiboneras Band" travels nationwide singing for the Lord and testifying to his goodness and mercies in their lives. The Ntiboneras are determined to use their ministry to share the gospel of Jesus Christ while collecting shoes, clothes, and other basic necessities that will be shipped and distributed to the people in the Congo. Due to war and political unrest In the Democratic Republic of the Congo, thousands of children have lost their parents. Many children have been born as a result of r**e and abandoned. Young girls and women continue to be sexually abused. People are dying because of malnutrition and a lack of medical attention. The Ntibonera Foundation aims to bring hope to vulnerable people. Our mission is to reach out to these people with the gospel of Jesus christ as well as attending to their physical needs

Your donated shoes and clothing have been delivered to these beautiful children.

These children are all orphans.
They lost their parents because of the war that has been imposed on the Congolese people—a war that has robbed them of family, safety, and stability.

Nothing can replace what they have lost.
But when you place shoes on the feet of a child who has lost everything, you restore dignity.
When you clothe an orphan, you send a message that they are not forgotten.

Because of your generosity, these children can walk with confidence again.
Because of your compassion, smiles are returning where pain once lived.
Because of your support, hope is being rebuilt—one child at a time.

Thank you to everyone who donated shoes and clothing.
You are helping us care for orphans, protect the vulnerable, and restore dignity in the midst of hardship.

People are back in tents. Again.

Since January, parts of Eastern Congo have been under the control of rebel groups. Families were forced to flee with nothing—crossing borders, sleeping in the open, and surviving on hope alone.

Now, as we approach 2026, the crisis has not ended.

More than 200,000 Congolese refugees are currently living in harsh conditions in Burundi:
• No adequate shelter
• Limited food and clean water
• No basic hygiene supplies
• No shoes—children walking barefoot on rough ground, exposed to disease and injury
• Children growing up in tents instead of schools

These images are not from decades ago.
They are today.Mothers are protecting their children with plastic sheets.Fathers are carrying what little they saved across water and borders.
Children are walking long distances without shoes, vulnerable and forgotten.

We have been asked to respond.

In the coming days, we will be launching an emergency humanitarian campaign to provide:
• Food and clean water
• Shelter and blankets
• Clothing and hygiene kits
• Shoes for children and adults—restoring dignity, protection, and hope

This is not charity.
This is solidarity.

The people of Congo have endured war for over 30 years. They should not be forgotten simply because the world has moved on.

📣 We are calling on partners, donors, churches, and the global community:
Stand with us.
Stand with the displaced.
Stand with Congo.

More details coming soon.

Today… a child in Congo is walking barefoot through war.
A child is running from gunfire with nothing on their feet.
A child is going to sleep hungry, afraid, and alone.

This Giving Tuesday, we refuse to look away.
We choose love.
We choose hope.
We choose to fight for these precious kids.

Many of them have lost parents to violence.
Many are at risk of being forcibly recruited by rebel groups.
And yet… they still smile. They still pray. They still hope.

This Christmas season, we want to put a smile back on their faces by giving each child a brand-new pair of shoes to protect their feet — and a warm meal to remind them that they are loved and not forgotten.

Shoes are already being given out, and food is already being shared… but the need is overwhelming. We want to do more — and that will only be possible if you make a donation today.

Your gift can change their story.
And 100% of what you give goes directly to the mission.

Please stand with us.
Be the reason a child feels safe today.
Be the reason a child smiles this Christmas.

🇨🇩 Hope on the Frontlines 👣

We just completed our first shoe distribution since the rebel group took over the city we serve in eastern Congo.

The new local authorities have passed a rule: every child must be in school — and those who aren’t risk severe consequences.

So the Ntibonera Foundation stepped in to help. We’re providing school uniforms and proper footwear so children can attend safely and avoid walking barefoot on contaminated soil, which can cause serious infections.

Your donated shoes are doing more than covering feet — they’re protecting lives, keeping children in school, and giving them hope.

💙 Thank you for your generosity.
📦 More distributions are on the way.

Promise made, promise fulfilled! Your good shoes, your clothes and medical supplies made it to Congo. We are thankful to all of you for your kindness and support towards the people of Congo - specifically to children that are running away from war barefooted and all they need is shoes to protect their feet .

From all the shipments we have done, we have never delivered a whole container of shoes, clothing and medical supplies to people in a city occupied by a rebel group . We did it y’all!

Thank you for your generosity. We will keep you posted when these gifts will be delivered to people that need them the most .

On November 23/2024 the Ntibonera Foundation, with the vital assistance of our volunteers, successfully loaded a 40-foot container with 20,000 pairs of shoes for a refugee camp in Goma, Congo DRC. As a former refugee child who faced similar challenges, including wearing my first pair of shoes at 9 years old, loading the container in Nashville, TN, was an emotionally charged experience. We kindly request prayers and support for the Foundation to obtain additional resources, secure a permanent warehouse in Nashville, and continue responding to humanitarian crises worldwide, while working towards our long-term goal of establishing a shoe manufacturing facility in the DRC Congo Africa, ultimately making a tangible difference.
