🍔DSNGG Family—our Red Robin Fundraiser is THIS Thursday!💛

We’re excited to remind everyone that our Red Robin Giveback Day is happening Thursday, July 2nd, from 11 AM–9 PM at Red Robin, 1507 Highwoods Blvd, Greensboro.

Red Robin will donate 20% of food sales back to DSNGG—but we must reach at least $200 in sales for the fundraiser to count. Every meal truly makes a difference for our local Down syndrome community.

Bring your:
đź’™ Family
đź’› Friends
💙 Co‑workers
đź’› Neighbors
đź’™ Church family
đź’› Anyone who loves great food and supporting a great cause

📣 Important: Show the flyer (printed or on your phone) or mention DSNGG to your server so your order is included!

Dine‑in, takeout, or online orders all count. Let’s come together, enjoy a delicious meal, and support the programs and events that lift up our DSNGG families all year long.

đź’™ Thank you for spreading the word and supporting DSNGG!

FREE Webinar 👉 Puberty in Down Syndrome

Puberty is a normal part of growth and maturation that comes with its own challenges. People with Down syndrome experience many of the same challenges as individuals without Down syndrome but may require additional supports to understand and accept the changes that puberty brings.

In this webinar, Hannah Graham, MD, and Katie Frank, PhD, OTR/L, will describe how puberty in people with Down syndrome is similar and different to puberty in people without Down syndrome and share resources to support individuals with Down syndrome during this time of transition.

Date: Tuesday, June 30
Time: 11:30 a.m. CDT
Location: Zoom

Big News for NC Families! We’ve teamed up with Down syndrome organizations across the state to launch the North Carolina Down Syndrome Collective—your new go‑to hub for expert guidance and practical resources.

Join us July 22 at 12pm for our second Lunch & Learn featuring Beth Field and Cheryl Powell with the Leadership Alliance for Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LAND) and the Disability ACTION Network (DAN) NC. If your loved one with Down syndrome isn’t on the Innovations Waiver wait list—no matter how old they are—this session is for you! Beth and Cheryl will walk us through the road map to get your loved one on the wait list. We’ll also hear from one of our families about why this waiver is so important for everyone in our community.

No registration needed. The session will be recorded, but we’d love to have you there live to ask questions and learn alongside other families.
