🆘We just gave out our last towel, friends!🚨We are officially out of bath towels, and we have 30+ households to serve next week. If you have gently-used bath towels to spare (or if you want to do some online shopping and send a care package) you can drop them off at (or send to) our Greensboro location: 838 Winston Street, Greensboro, NC 27405, M-F 8 a.m.-2 p.m.

We furnish 1,200 households each year, and every one receives a bath set with all the essentials, so bath towels are kind of a big deal around here. Thank you for helping us recycle furniture and restore lives! ♥

Can you believe we're 20?! This fall Barnabas celebrates two decades of service as your 501(c)(3) nonprofit community furniture bank. Our premise remains the same as it was back in 2006: We collect furniture that still has a lot of life in it and we put it into the homes of people who are on the path to self-sufficiency.

In one year, Barnabas:
✨Collaborates with 150 community partners
🚚Picks up donations from 2,500 homes
🛋Collects 17,000 pieces of furniture
🛌🏿Gives out 1,500 beds (with more than half going to children)
🏠Furnishes 1,200+ homes
❤Provides a helping hand up to 3,700 people
🌎Diverts 425 TONS of perfectly-good furniture from the landfill

Here's to 20 years of neighbors helping neighbors. We're proud to have you here with us! Your furniture donations, volunteer power, financial contributions, and word-of-mouth support mean the world to us and the individuals and families we serve.

"Grounded Design challenges the traditional role of interior design by demonstrating that thoughtfully furnished homes are not simply aesthetic spaces; they are environments that support safety, routine, identity, social connection, recovery and long-term well-being. The nonprofit is working alongside the Barnabas Furniture Bank in the city of High Point."

💎Wasn't that a fun Eclectic Auction? Together we raised a grand total of $12,350, surpassing our $10,000 goal by a mile. We hope you enjoyed hunting for treasures, but most importantly, we hope you know how much your support means to the individuals and families we serve.

🏠Thank you for bidding, browsing, and spreading the word about our Eclectic Auction fundraiser. The funds we raised are already at work on the front lines of addressing furniture poverty here in our community.

🚨Our Summer Eclectic Auction wraps up tonight at 8 p.m. and there are still 40+ items with NO BIDS. No bids yet on this rare Mason & Sullivan West German Oak Pillar & Scroll Shelf Mantel Clock??!! Can you believe it?

🕰Mason and Sullivan was established in Massachusetts in 1947 and provided clock and hobby enthusiasts with high-quality clock kits sourced with German and Swiss materials. The company went out of business in the late 80s, leaving beauties like this one here as its legacy. This piece retails for more than $400 today, and it's currently sitting at a $10 starter bid.
