Food insecurity is scary! 👻🎃

Not being able to serve our community is even scarier! Our backpack program, Operation Backpack, is run entirely on food drive donations. Which means without our generous community we cannot do the work that we do! We are currently serving 10 schools this year and hope to bring other schools off our waitlist soon. Every student enrolled in Operation Backpack (currently more than 400 students!) gets a bag with weekly rotating menus providing breakfast, lunch, fruit, and snacks for the child, plus the option to get a complete meal for the family for the weekend or when school is out.

Where are you Wednesday!

Today we’re setting up for our Fresh Mobile Market at Glenwood Together at 1PM. We recommend getting in line for our markets more than an hour in advance as we only guarantee food for the first 100 families at each market, so come get in line now! We’re so grateful to volunteers that help us run our markets. We can’t do what we do without our volunteers and partners!
