Mental health is an essential part of overall health, yet too many individuals and families continue to face barriers to care because of stigma, limited access, cultural differences, and systemic inequities.

At Simone Cares Center for Health Equity, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve their best possible health—and that includes mental health.

Creating healthier communities begins with education, compassion, and conversation. It begins by checking in with ourselves, supporting one another, and reminding those who are struggling that they are not alone.

This month, we encourage you to:

We’re thrilled to announce our community partnership to help local families access the food and resources they deserve. Together, Simone Cares and Lucas Exceptional Healthcare & Consultation are providing grocery vouchers to a minimum of 10 families in the Piedmont/Triad area of North Carolina.

🍎 Voucher Details:
Each voucher is valued at $50 and can be used toward groceries at participating locations.
Priority will be given to families or individuals experiencing food insecurity or financial hardship.

đź“‹ How to Apply:
âś… Must reside in the Piedmont/Triad area
âś… Complete a short request form or provide verbal confirmation of need
âś… Proof of residency (ID or utility bill) may be requested
âś… One voucher per household per giveaway period

This initiative is part of our shared mission to promote equitable access to nutritious food and uplift our community through compassion, care, and collaboration.

Our goal is to provide 10 families with a $50 food voucher over the next 3 weeks — but we can’t do it without your help!
