The PAL program matches incoming international exchange students with UNCG students to help the students adjust to life at UNCG, in Greensboro, and in the USA in general. PALs welcome exchange students to campus, assist with their adjustment to living at UNCG, help with registration and prepare them for the semester. All UNCG students are encouraged to apply, especially returning study abroad stud

ents, or those interested in studying abroad in the future. This page is for both incoming students, as well as UNCG students participating in the PAL program.

Hey PALS! Thanksgiving is coming up soon (3 weeks!)! If you are making plans for the holiday, please consider inviting your international PAL to Thanksgiving festivities with your family and friends. This is a very typical American holiday (other countries don't celebrate it!) so it would be great to show your international PAL what Thanksgiving is all about!

the Study Abroad Olympics & Farewell Picnic!
Represent your country in the Study Abroad Olympics!

An afternoon of fun in the sun with friends, field games, prizes & more! Celebrate the end of the school year, meet other UNCG students who’ve studied abroad, and a time to say Farewell! There will be lots of great food too!!
Date: Saturday, April 21, 2012
Time: 12:00-3:00 pm
Place: Foust park (in front of the Foust building on Spring Garden St.).

Teams of 5-8 people will compete in an afternoon of fun, kooky and silly field games as they go for gold and try to win some great prizes.
Register your Team Now!- In order to compete in the games, you must register your team. Team Registration is open until Thursday, April 19.
