Project One - Get on the Streets
Welcome to Project One. The first step is to get a small controlled group of performers on the street. We will monitor each closely to make we get all rules complied with, especially if any local law officers have a different interpretation of the rules than they appear to us.
Step 1 – We need six people to go through the process to get licensed. Please submit your name to either Matty ([email protected]) or myself ([email protected]). Please keep the communication on this via email and not publicly posted on Facebook, Twitter, etc. There is no reason for anyone not to go ahead and get licensed but we would like to limit the first group to a small number so that we get a good start with no problems. By doing it this way, we should also be able to anticipate any problems that come up.
Step 2 – Once we have enough people through the licensing process, we will decide on a date to do the test runs. This will include a volunteer with each performer, so need six volunteers for this also. The idea is to handle any problems immediately when they arise and anticipate future ones.
Step 3 – We need someone to come up with T-shirts or something similar that we can wear for a while until street musicians can perform uninterrupted in Greensboro, with no hindrance to their performances. Use the email addresses above if you can help on this step.
Thanks.
