Voice for Choice is a grassroots movement of people of all backgrounds and beliefs to come together to protect our "Right to Choose”. damental right to privacy and access to reproductive healthcare as we raise awareness and donations for Planned Parenthood Votes! March is Women’s History Month and throughout March we will be holding several events throughout the Greensboro, NC area—dinners where information can be shared about the issues at hand and ways to influence policy, and showings of the 2022 documentary The Janes; a group of feminists in 1970s Chicago who made it their mission to administer an estimated 12,000 SAFE abortions pre-Roe v Wade. Access to abortion remains legal in North Carolina, but anti-choice legislators are just one seat away from a supermajority in the House. If they win, we lose. In November, there were critical losses in the state Senate and Supreme Court. As of January 12, 2023, NC Republicans have already begun the process of trying to restrict abortion services. Regardless of race, political affiliation, ethnicity or sexual identity, we are outraged and prepared to turn our anger into action. We hope you’ll join us.
