Imagine it’s Friday, June 19th. You work remotely. Where will your office be today? 💻

A) Your couch: convenient but subpar lumbar support
B) Coffee shop: great vibes buuuuuut $9 coffees
C) HQ: a house with many rooms, solid wi-fi, a coffee maker and refreshed snack stash, AND a few of your friends for when you just need a little break

It’s not even close - the answer is C! Come work from HQ this Friday, June 19, between 9 am and 5 pm, for the first official WFHq- and then stay after you close your laptop for Front Porch Fridays!

Our dedicated Director of Donor Development, Debbie West, will be stepping away from her role this month. Debbie’s passion for philanthropy, relationship-building, and the mission of the Junior League have played a vital role in positioning our organization for continued success. We feel very lucky that even as she steps away from this role, Debbie - a JLG member since 1993 - will remain part of our League as a Sustainer. 🎉 Meet our 2026-2027 Community Partners: A Simple Gesture GSO/HP/Guilford County

➡️ The Junior League of Greensboro first partnered with ASG in 2024 and will continue helping with their Green Bag Program through 2028. A Simple Gesture simplifies the process of donating food to local food banks through their Green Bag Program - you fill up the bag and leave it on your front porch, they pick it up and distribute the contents to local food banks! Their mission aligns with our focus on food insecurity through Greensboro EATS and we love partnering with such an effective and passionate group of people. We’re looking forward to the next two years!

📣 Did you know that the Junior League of Greensboro has contributed over $3.5 MILLION dollars to the Greensboro community since 1928? From earlier projects like launching the Greensboro Science Center and the Greensboro Symphony Guild to more recent partners like Community Housing Solutions and Kids in the Kitchen, we’ve been dedicated to making a lasting impact in Greensboro the whole time. Enter: Front Porch Fridays! ✨ On the third Friday of every month, we’ll gather at HQ (on the front porch, of course, weather permitting) for a super casual chance to catch up with League friends. Front Porch Fridays will be drop-in, BYOB, and - dare we say - the highlight of your summer. See you there!
