Honoring Generations of Care 💐👵

Certificate in hand, Mrs. Jennifer Sanders joined Mrs. Duncan on stage and shared a powerful testimony about her family’s journey of caregiving.

She spoke about how her mother and sisters lovingly cared for her grandmother for over 10 years. 🙏 Her story was a beautiful reminder of the strength, sacrifice, and love that family caregivers carry every day.

Friends That Become Family 🤝🏡

Paula is blessed to be surrounded by so much love and support.

“Dan” first came into the community as a student who landed in Greensboro through Auburn Rural Studios. Over time, he shifted from a student visitor to an adopted “grandson” to Mrs. Burroughs, often visiting and even staying overnight.

As life continued, Dan and his wife Rachel began visiting together, staying with Mrs. Burroughs and Paula — and he never shows up empty-handed! 🎁😊

What started as a simple connection has grown into a lasting friendship that continues to this day.

These are the meaningful bonds we hope to cultivate in the lives of our residents.

Gratitude for Our Caregivers 💙💐

We are so thankful to everyone who joined us for Caregivers Appreciation Day!

The Hale County College and Career Center was the perfect venue with an auditorium that seats 500 — over 100 people signed in to celebrate together! 🙌

We’re grateful for every caregiver who showed up and made the day so special. Stay tuned for the next one… we’re planning to fill every seat. 😊

A Special Reunion 💛✨

Paula had a surprise visit from her friend and 2025 Horseshoe Farm Health Partner, Brynn! 😊

Brynn, who now resides in Boston, returned to Greensboro for a few days and made time to reconnect with Paula during her visit.

Their friendship has continued even after Brynn moved, and we are so thankful for her kindness and ongoing support.

Community in Action 🏘️✨

Since the beginning of transitioning our home into a residential living facility, Paula has been kept in the loop — and she loves being involved every step of the way. 😊

When we sold raffle tickets for our Caregiver’s Appreciation Day, we parked at the post office and visited every business downtown.

Before we even left the post office, Paula had already sold the first ticket!

A heartfelt thank you to all the local businesses who donated, supported, or displayed our flyer in your windows, and to the wonderful ladies at City Hall who contributed as well.
