This one's for the buyers!

In May, the national median listing price plunged 2.4 percent (year-over-year) to $429.500, according to data in the following Realtor.com article.

Last month represented the seventh-consecutive month of price declines, but also the sharpest annual decline in NINE years.

The May 2026 housing market saw the sharpest year-over-year home price drop since 2017 as sellers pivoted to realistic pricing.
