Glenwood Together

Welcome to Volunteer Spotlight Saturday!

This week: We had an incredible group of A&T students come out to help us at our Fresh Mobile Market at Glenwood Together on Wednesday. They worked hard to make sure the community was served safely and efficiently. We cannot thank A&T students enough for continuing to show up for our local communities!

We cannot run our operations without our incredibly dedicated volunteers. So many of our volunteers work with us on a regular basis and have become part of the Out of the Garden Project family but we’re always looking for new helping hands! Visit our website for more information about volunteering and to sign up to help at a Fresh Mobile Market or in our warehouse! We’re so grateful for all of the many schools, corporations, groups, and individuals who come volunteer for us. We are the community that feeds our community thanks to you and your hard work!

We are thrilled to be working with Glenwood local Colin Cutler Music and neighborhood brewery Oden Brewing Company to host our third annual Glenwood Jam!

Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 25 - come out to enjoy an afternoon of great music, drinks, and community! 100% of proceeds from this family-friendly event support our community work at Glenwood Together!

While it's free to attend, we encourage you to consider purchasing an event ticket ahead of time - these tickets include pre-paid drink(s), a commemorative pint glass, and other perks. Best of all, it helps us plan for a great event and includes a small donation to Glenwood Together.

Thanks for the great write-up, UNC Greensboro! We're excited about our latest community-based endeavor, Late Checkout Thrift!

Late Checkout Thrift Store in Spartan Village offers bargains with good causes. Items on sale reduce waste on campus while supporting community programming around UNCG.
