If you've been living under a rock, you may not have heard that we opened a thrift store this past weekend! The big grand opening was a celebration for Glenwood residents and UNCG students alike. We're excited to have the presence of in Glenwood and we hope that it becomes a neighborhood staple, providing affordable goods for neighbors as well as jobs for local youth.

If you are passionate about bringing positive change to your community, we invite you to learn about our high school leadership group, Youth Forward.

Visit us at the center on Sunday, August 30th for a Youth Forward new member interest meeting. We will discuss the program and what it means for you as a member. Afterward, we will attend a Greensboro Grasshoppers game together

Lots going on this Wednesday at the center. Our monthly mobile market is back, lunch and bingo, and social services on site for walk-in assistance.

We also need volunteers for every mobile market, so if you'd like to help with this event that has proven so valuable to our neighborhood, you can sign up thru our website or just let us know!
