Alumni and Friends of Guilford College is excited to share that President Jean Bordewich is sticking around! Guilford College's Board of Trustees has approved extending her contract for another three years, through the end of July 2030.

Jean has been a long time supporter and partner of AFOG, and we are grateful for all she has done over the last 18 months to strengthen Guilford College's financial situation, engage with the Guilford community, and advocate for the value of the Guilford experience.

Harold Moag '48 is turning 100! 🎂🎈

His friends and family are inviting you to help make this milestone birthday EXTRA SPECIAL by participating in a "card shower".

Harold Moag is a 1948 alumnus and has served as a sports announcer for countless Guilford College athletics events. He is known as the man who volunteers for EVERYTHING and has spent decades donating his time to the Guilford County Board of Elections, Wyndham Championship , YMCA, Western Guilford High School, and so many more local organizations.

Help us wish him a VERY HAPPY 100th BIRTHDAY by sending him a birthday card! Mail before his birthday - August, 5th.

Last year, loyal alumni more than doubled the number of donors from 900 to 2,021. Impressive! Now an anonymous donor has issued a $50,000 challenge grant – $50 for every gift from alumni who have not given this fiscal year – to a maximum of $50,000 from 1,000 donors. This play will be performed as a fundraiser for Guilford College's Department of Theatre Studies featuring Tiffany Holland '97 as Sharon, recently divorced and looking for a roommate to share her Iowa home. Theatre Studies Co-Chair Beth Ritson, as Robyn, is searching for a place to hide — and a chance to start over. As Sharon begins to uncover Robyn’s secrets, she is drawn toward her own long-buried desire for transformation. The Roommate is a dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life — and what happens when things start to spin out of control.

The annual celebration of the intercollegiate athletics year by Guilford's Student Athlete Advisory Council and the Quakers Athletics Department. Students will be honored with top departmental awards for performance on and off the playing field. The event is free of charge and open to the public. Semi-formal to formal attire is recommended.
