There are a lot of scary tons happening in the world right now. We need to stick together and support the people we know and care about. Others countries will try to get us to fight each other but please stick together. This is a video sequence I filmed in Afghanistan. This is just a sequence showing the response to incoming fire. I have been under fire for a long time now and when I saw all of the attacks in the middle east it reminded me of when I used to work there. I know exactly how it feels to be on a base doing something and then you hear the air raid alert. I am in Ukraine now and there are not the same bunkers but we are under ballistic attack and drone attack on a daily basis. I wanted to post it to show that I’m very familiar with what the people stationed on US bases throughout the Middle East are experiencing. I deployed to the Middle East during active duty and it was a bit of a joke to “deploy” to Al Dhafra air base in Abu Dhabi. We have been prepared to use direct action against Iran for a long time. We practiced all of the time exactly what we would do if it came down to it. It was like a vacation compared to Afghanistan. But this Iranian threat has always existed and the entire time they have had missiles pointed at us. In Iraq, Qatar, UAE, and Bahrain I’ve been to these places and seen these facilities and probably know some mechanics working there. I hope everyone working there is safe. I don’t really understand why the U.S. attacked Iran but I know the American military is the best in the world and they’re my family. The U.S. military is the best because we practice every day and practice to confront every contingency.
The American military will carry out orders that were given by elected politicians and this is where any frustrations should be directed, not at the American military service members themselves.
