In order for U.S. athletes to qualify, they must place in their division at Nationals, to be held March (date/location TBA). Start making plans now! Greetings!

This is the 2024 Team USA roster after our last national championship. The invite letters have gone out in email, and we look forward to everyone's response. We are looking ahead to the Pan-American Championship and I believe we've fielded a very good team.

I encourage all athletes to begin the process of obtaining or updating their passports, if they have not already. This was a big hurdle for athletes in the past. I also strongly encourage athletes and their coaches of record to begin working towards sponsorships and donations to take the edge off of out-of-pocket expenses. We as the Federation will also help to generate small scholarships for athletes who make the international events.

We are still updating the website and compiling data for the school charters. I will make another announcement when this is complete. I want to thank everyone on behalf of the esteemed North American Combat Ju-Jitsu Federation board for their hardwork and contributions to the growth of true Combat Ju-Jitsu in the United States. We find ourselves stuck between the worlds of traditional martial arts, sport grappling, and modern mma in such a way that makes us not only niche, but also cutting edge and elite.

I am very proud of the warriors that attend our events, put their toes on the tatami and leave it all on the mat. Only 2% of the martial arts world has the strength of character to compete. And only 2% of that subset have the stomach for full contact. We few, we happy few, we band of warriors....I look forward to seeing everyone again, soon. Our future is bright!
