Happy Birthday to Bobby Jones!
Bobby Jones was a St. Patrick’s Day baby, born on this day in 1902. There’s a lesser-known story about the connection between St. Patrick’s Day, good luck, and a four-leaf clover that followed him throughout his life. When Bobby was a young junior golfer, his mother gave him a four-leaf clover medallion to hang from his watch chain. He carried it throughout his career, and even in photos later in life the clover can be seen hanging from his right hip. We believe that small symbol of hope,faith, love, and luck was with him through all 13 of his major championships and it has since become a treasured part of the Jones family legacy.

2025 was a big year for Gen Next!
We are so thankful for the growth and support we experienced this year. We met some amazing young golfers and had two former participants become group leaders at our final event of the year.

Our team is working so hard behind the scenes to make 2026 a breakout year for the organization. To all who have followed and supported us, THANK YOU!

The concept works! Golf can teach us so much about our own selves and how we need to be mentally disciplined in life, which lowers the risk of having future mental health issues. We are teaching the mental game... THROUGH the game of golf, FOR the game of life.

A nice recap of our event with First Tee Central Carolina! Amazing event and group… just the beginning!
⛳️We taught the group about how to handle decisions that involve risk and the art of winning!
⛳️ We tested a new concept that helped “gamify” the experience and it was a huge hit!
⛳️ A milestone! We had our first two previous participants become group leaders!

A milestone weekend at with our Change Your Course event!

Two former participants, (Alina Amos), and .golf (Mallory Pitts), became group leaders for our program!

This is our future… “generation next” is a call to action for the next generation to become mentors and role models for peers and those in the footsteps of our fearless new leaders!

Both stepped up and stepped into the role and looked like they have been doing it for years! We are so excited!

Thank you, First Tee Central Carolina for hosting us and providing such a great group of talented golfers and amazing humans! The future is bright!

When decisions pile up, on the course or off, even simple decisions become difficult. Often that is accompanied with just wanting to walk away. But there are ways to navigate times (weeks or hours) that we are inundated with decision making.

Amazing support for Gen Next! We came close to breaking $100,000 raised in 2 auctions in 2025. Our July fundraiser raised $37,950!
