What a night! Last evening we celebrated our annual changing of the guard and proudly introduced our new co-presidents, Matthew Blake and Eric Weaver.

Thank you to our outgoing president, Bryan Howard, and our current Board of Directors for their dedication and service. Your work set a strong foundation. Matthew and Eric bring fresh energy and a shared commitment to service, fellowship, and community impact, and we’re excited to see where their leadership takes our club.

Please join me in congratulating Matthew and Eric and in supporting their vision for the year ahead. Stay tuned for upcoming projects and events - there’s a lot to look forward to!

Great photos from Wednesday’s Club meeting and the Golf Tournament. Thanks to everyone who joined and helped make these events a success!

Downtown Rotary Club President Bryan Howard displays an autographed book from Past Rotary International President Barry Rassin, presented to Bryan in recognition of his role welcoming and supporting the 2026 United States‑Canada Golfing Fellowship of Rotarians National Championship.

Bryan also shows the club flags presented to us at the tournament event.

Past District 7690 Governor Patrick Eakes (left) and Crescent Rotary Club member and Tournament Co‑Chair DuPont Kirven (right) flank our own Past District 7690 Governor and Tournament Champion Jon Spillman.

Kernersville Rotary Club member and District 7690 CART (Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust) representative Tom Fitzgerald gave an excellent presentation with encouraging updates on Alzheimer’s research and treatments.

Thanks to all who participated and supported these efforts. Looking forward to the next meeting and more great Rotary moments!

We were thrilled to welcome Barry Rassin, Rotary International President for 2018–19, to our club meeting this week. His insights on leadership, service above self, and building resilient communities left us all inspired and energized!

On Wednesday, our Rotary Club had the privilege of hearing from Beth Crise of Out of the Garden Project about the incredible work their organization is doing to fight child hunger in our community. Beth shared the mission, impact, and growing need for support as they continue providing meals to children and families across the Triad.

We were also proud to have Justin Plummer present Out of the Garden Project with a donation check from our Rotary Club to help support their important work.

Thank you to Beth for taking the time to speak with us and for the difference Out of the Garden is making every single day. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with organizations that are creating real impact in our community!

We had an incredible time at the recent Rotary District Conference!

This year was extra special as we celebrated the successful merger of the Downtown Rotary Club and Airport Rotary Club, coming together to create an even stronger, united force for good in our community.

We are honored to have received the Governor’s Platinum Club Award, recognizing our outstanding commitment and impact. This continues our tradition of excellence, having earned the District Achievement Award for four consecutive years since our founding.

A big thank you to all our members for their dedication and hard work. Together, we’re making a real difference!
