FYI: The Neighborhood Traffic Managment Program (NTMP) is a Greensboro Department of Transportation (GDOT) initiative that partners residents, neighborhood associations and homeowner’s associations with City engineers to create tailored plans to reduce motor vehicle speeding and make residential streets safer for all users.

A thorough program overview is available at the following link, and any resident may submit an eligible street for evaluation by City of Greensboro.

Thank you to everyone who has contributed 2024 dues to support Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association! Our membership drive is ongoing, and as a reminder, memberships follow the calendar year, January to December. We ask every resident of the greater Friendly Acres community (including but not limited to Weston, Weston Woods, Friendly Acres, and Parkston) to participate at some level and encourage you to contribute where you are most comfortable!

Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association (FANA) relies on the support of its neighbors to maintain a beautiful community we can all be proud of!

In 2007, Starmount Company, the developer of Friendly Acres, relinquished the clubhouse and surrounding property to Friendly Acres Neighborhood Association (FANA), which was set up as a voluntary nonprofit corporation rather than the typical homeowners' association (HOA). Various neighbors have volunteered since then to operate the association with voluntary dues from neighbors. Landscaping dues help support the common deeded areas of our neighborhood.

It’s all sunshine in the forecast for Sunday! ☀️ Join us for our rescheduled End-of-Summer Block Party with Whims, Kelly Jackson Music, and $5 grilled burgers and hot dogs. Bring your lawn chair, your favorite beverage, and your friends and join the fun! All are welcome - need not be a member.
