The Americans with Disabilities Act opened doors, broke down barriers, and affirmed the rights of millions of people with disabilities. Thirty-six years later, it's also a reminder that advocacy doesn't stop, it continues through education, awareness, and community.

The Disability Advocacy Center encourages our community to attend this special screening of Change, Not Charity: The Americans with Disabilities Act. It's an opportunity to reflect on how far we've come, learn more about the history behind the ADA, and recognize the work that still lies ahead to create a more accessible and inclusive world.

We hope you'll take part in this meaningful event and join the conversation.

Advocacy begins with awareness.

At DAC, we've seen firsthand how important it is for people living in long-term care facilities to have advocates who speak up when something isn't right. That's why we're sharing this upcoming event hosted by R.O.A.R. 4 LTC. Raising awareness is often the first step toward meaningful change, and every conversation helps bring more attention to the rights, dignity, and quality of life of long-term care residents.

If this is a cause that matters to you, we encourage you to learn more by checking out the flyer below. Even small acts of support can help keep this important conversation going.

Please see the flyer for more details/information
