What’s going on at the US-Mexico border? What’s happening in the US immigration system? A panel of legal experts and immigrants consider these issues and more at a lunchtime seminar starting at 11 am on May 21 at the Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship, 1451 S. Elm-Eugene St.
The City’s International Advisory Committee is co-sponsoring the event, which consists of three sessions sandwiched around a complimentary lunch.
• 11 am to 12:15 pm – Where’s the Line to Enter? Understanding US immigration processes
• 12:15-12:45 pm – The Front Lines: A working lunch with Immigrants’ rights advocate Stefania Arteaga of the Carolina Migrant Network
• 12:45 -2:00 pm – What’s Happening at the US-Mexico Border? Personal accounts and a legal perspective on recent events at the US-Mexico border

Established in 2008, the IAC works to create a more inclusive Greensboro for members of the international community.
