Join the Resilient Guilford Network and Guilford Community Care Network (GCCN) on October 7 for Awareness in Action: Protect, Prevent, Empower, a special 90-minute strangulation awareness training.

Led by Sonya Desai of the Guilford County Family Justice Center and a Greensboro Police Department officer, the training will help participants recognize signs of strangulation, understand its impact, and respond appropriately. Strangulation is one of the strongest predictors of future intimate partner homicide, making awareness and early recognition critical.

We are excited to engage with community members, provide valuable information about GCCN, and contribute to a day dedicated to educational success and community wellness.

If you're looking for extra access to healthcare for a day, save the date for this Community Health Fair at ODM! It's presented by the and hosted in our parking lot on August 3, 10 a.m-12 p.m.
