Hampton Beach Beautification members and friends spent a lovely afternoon at Fox Cottage Farm in Greenland on Friday learning all about dahlias. After our lecture and discussion we were able to cut dahlias to take home. On the grounds of Bird Dog Cidery, 150 Bayside Rd., Greenland, NH. Dahlias should be in bloom until first frost.

How did we get to our end of summer Ice Cream Social so quickly? Thanks, John & Linda Gebhart for hosting those of us who could make it the other day. Many of our volunteers work during the week and were not able to celebrate with us. All the beach gardens look GREAT thanks to everyone’s hard work.

Volunteers worked at Bicentennial Park today to plant pollinator friendly plants for this season. Plants were funded in part by financial awards from both the Hampton and Portsmouth Garden Clubs. Thanks to both these organizations for making our seacoast beautiful. And thanks to our volunteers for all their hard work all summer long.

Hampton Beach Beautification Committee members met at Coffee Break Cafe today to kick off their 2025 season. Thanks to everyone who has signed up to help plant, water and care for the plants in all the gardens we manage. All the recent rain has helped our spring plants bloom beautifully.
