Pack 166 - Seacoast NH We are the cub scout pack for Portsmouth, Greenland, and Rye NH. We have fun and learn some cool stuff while we do it. We LOVE scouting!

Pack 166 serves the Towns of Greenland and Rye NH, and the City of Portsmouth NH, we are chartered by The Community Congregational Church of Greenland.

Today our Webelos and the Arrow of Light scouts from Cub Scout Pack 318, Kittery ME participated in the Abnaki Klondike Derby. They got to practice some basic scouting skills such as: firebuilding, knots, orienteering, and basic first aid. Way to go scouts!

Our January events in Pack 166:
For our Pack meeting we awarded our scouts for their hard work since the new year. We then practiced some exercises based on trust where scouts had to follow directions while blindfolded.

For our Pack Activity we met at Seacoast Adventure in Windham, Maine to go snow Tubin together.

This past week our Tiger den participated in a home depot youth workshop to create a Penguin snowball game out of wood. They used these games to complete the adventure “games tigers play” which helps develop a scouts knowledge of game rules and how to apply good sportsmanship.

We had a great November is Pack 166. Our group of Cubs collected over 1,400 items of food for the Greenland Church Food pantry and then all our scouts earned their Bobcat rank at our November pack meeting. Way to go Scouts!
