CRC is happy to participate in the 2nd annual Watershed Week, organized by the Connecticut River Watershed Partnership, with participation from many regional organizations, nonprofits, museums, schools, and other groups.
It's a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the Connecticut River watershed as a whole while being able to connect with groups close to home.

One River - Four States - Countless Connections
Join us to celebrate CRWP’s second annual Watershed Week from September 18th to 27th!
Watershed Week is a week-long celebration of the Connecticut River watershed culminating on World Rivers Day, to be held September 18th to the 27th, 2026. It is an opportunity for everyone in the Connecticut River watershed, from the headwaters to the mouth at Long Island Sound, to experience a sense of connection with their environment and local communities. The watershed-wide celebration will include a range of activities from diverse groups, including river cleanups, a BioBlitz, recreational paddles, museum highlights, and more.
Whether you are organizing your own Watershed Week event or simply want to support this uniquely local initiative to recognize the watershed that unites us, the following are specific ways your organization can participate.
