Please meet our summer librarians- Tiffany Pitman White (daughter of Kathy Pitman)and and Elizabeth Stayton Reno (daughter of Karen Pitman)! They are both granddaughters of Lloyd and Joy Pitman.

While the library board is making plans to begin a thorough search for a new library director later in the summer, these ladies will be the friendly faces behind the desk.

We ask that you always bring your library card with you even if you haven’t been asked to in the past. Scanning the barcode on it is much easier and quicker for the librarian than searching for you in the system. It’s your “driver’s license” for the library! If you’ve lost the card and/or the key tag we’ll gladly replace them for the small fee of $1.

It’s time-State Rep CD Davidsmeyer’s Summer Reading Club is open! This challenge is for students in K-5th grades. Celebrate the freedom to read during America’s 250th birthday! You may return your completed form to the library and we’ll send it in, or you may complete it online.
Please return form to the library by July 28 if you want us to mail it in. If 10 or more children beat the reading challenge, Rep. Davidsmeyer will provide a pizza party with all the trimmings here at the library! Forms are now available at the library!
