As the Friends of Franklin County, we are doing a team service project this year in which we aim to create an event that is youth led and incorporates teamwork and giving back to the community. We've brainstormed a few different project possibilities that reflect our team's values and ideals. These ideas can and will continue to change as we learn and connect with the community. We would love your input!

Rate these activities from 1 to 3 based on your interest level ( #1 being most engaging activity) - please leave your response in the comments!

____ Passion Project - Share your love of music, art, history, etc. with your community. We would love to learn more about you and the things you love doing or learning about.

____ Mini Ted Talks - Based on the existing model of Ted Talks, we hope to create a safe space in which you can lead a discussion on any topic. We will provide support to help you facilitate your discussion.

____ Community Art Project - Come together with your peers to collaborate and create a piece of art that you can share with your community. As a group we can decide what our topic will be and what materials we would use. Some examples of community art projects are murals, art exhibits, and art installations.

Trauma and grief can result from different adverse childhood experiences. Check out our flyer on Teen Dating Violence to learn more about how teen dating violence may impact youth and where you can go to learn more. By having these conversations we hope to bring attention to how we can all come together and reduce these incidences in our community.
