The Greenfield Lions are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved member, Lion Don Almquist.

Lion Don was a true inspiration and the embodiment of what it means to be a Lion—dedicated, compassionate, and committed to service. His legacy of community leadership and kindness will live on in the lives he touched and the many ways he helped strengthen Greenfield.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31, from 4–8 PM at Max Sass Funeral Home in Greenfield.

April is Global Volunteer Month! 🌟💙 Lions around the world are stepping up to make a difference, and that includes protecting the environment.

Want to help? Here are three ways to volunteer for the planet:
🌱 Join a community clean-up event 🚮
🌳 Plant a tree in your neighborhood 🌿
♻️ Organize a recycling drive for your local community

Together, we can keep our Earth clean and green! 🌍 Tag a friend who loves giving back! 💚

Did you know that 91% of plastic isn’t recycled? 😲 That means millions of tons end up in our oceans, harming wildlife and polluting our planet. 🌊🐢

Here’s how YOU can cut down on plastic waste:
✅ Carry a reusable water bottle & coffee cup ☕
✅ Use cloth bags instead of plastic ones 🛍️
✅ Choose products with minimal or compostable packaging

Small changes lead to a healthier planet! 🌎 What’s one eco-friendly habit you practice? Share in the comments! ⬇️
