Hot shots played two hard fought games today losing to DASA Cyclones(0-3 Premier)and ASPO Force(1-4 Champions). We gained a lot of game experience for our new players and great opportunity for Liz and Bandith to learn to defend together. Lizzie was nominated to the all tournament team with Jenna Filip- Dasa, PJ Shaw Pirannahs, Zander Helfrich-ASPO by other coaches and referees! Awesome job by everyone including our parents working together to ensure a successful weekend.

Hot Shots had a challenging 2nd game against Mary Free Bed with a loss 1-3. But we took away a lot of game time experience for our newer player. Liz also got a great goal when Goalie was not watching the gap between himself and post. She nailed it!

Two tough games tomorrow against DASA Cyclones( Premier) and ASPO Force (Champions). But we love to play up because we learn so much! Go Hot Shots!

Hot Shots are missing Shelby this weekend. But off to a good start this weekend with a 1-0 win over Inferno. Bandith got the assist to Lizzie for the score! Everyone did a great job Victor played both on the floor and in goal. Bandith had several great saves. Katherine had several good take aways on the floor and Lizzie had solid Defense.

Hot Shots attended the St. Louis Jerry Frick Tournament this past weekend, Feb 14-15. They had a great tournament, Won-3 and Lost 2. The two losses were against teams in the two divisions above us. Bandith Carr and Victor Carter are new players to the Hot Shots team this year. We want to officially welcome them to the team. Everyone found opportunities to shine, learn, grow and have a lot of fun this weekend.
