Franklin County MA Amateur Radio Club We are the Franklin County (Mass) amateur radio club. The FCARC's base is Franklin County, in north central and north western Massachusetts.

Our repeaters are also accessible from parts of adjacent Berkshire, Hampshire, and Worcester Counties of Massachusetts as well as from southeastern Vermont and southwestern New Hampshire. Whether you live here or are just visiting or passing through, you are welcome to join our activities. Please contact any of the FCARC club officers for more information. At the last FCARC meeting elections were held.
Brad Councilman elected President (replacing Aaron Addison)
Chris Meyers elected Director (replacing Belle Dyer).
Beth Lukin elected Secretary (replacing Erika LaFrome).
These positions take effect on September 1st.
Also with Brad being elected as President that leaves a vacancy for Vice-President. It will be up to Brad to nominate someone and for the Board to approve that person once Brad is in office.

If you haven't heard yet, monthly lunches are now happening on the 4th Thursday of every month at Denny's in Greenfield. Our next one is Thursday, June 23rd. Brad Councilman is the organizer if you have any questions.

The best way to stay up to date on FCARC activities is to join the Groups IO list. If you aren't familiar with Groups IO have no fear. Joining it will give you the opportunity to subscribe to emails which will be delivered right to your mailbox. No logging into Facebook or anything else to keep up with what is going on.

Also we are looking for someone to take over the FCARC page and group admin duties once Aaron's term as president is over.

The June Communicator went out last night.
- There is a lunch meetup TODAY at Denny's pantry in Greenfield at noon if anyone is interested.
- Saturday June 11th is the next FCARC breakfast at Denny's.
- Monday June 13th is the next FCARC meeting on Zoom. It is election time! Details posted in the Communicator.

Not many people at Monday night's meeting but there is interest in having a CW station for Field Day. A permit application is being done to secure Poets Seat for the event and a portapotty will be ordered. No volunteers for a GOTA station or a SSB station so not sure if we will have those. A1AW is in charge of the CW station so contact him with questions etc... Thank you... Rebecca/K1BKY

Next FCARC meeting is on Zoom on Monday, May 8th. The Communicator has the link. We will be discussing Field Day. Also elections are coming up. If you want to nominate someone for President, Director, or Secretary send it to Aaron, KF1G.

On Monday, January 10th- 7pm- Zoom- We'll be talking about digital interfaces. (No board meeting, general meeting only).
