Meals on Wheels of Hancock County Meals on Wheels of Hancock County is a nonprofit medically tailored meal delivery program in Indiana. Weekend meals delivered Fridays. mealsonwheelsonline.org

Serving Hancock County residents who wish to remain in their homes and communities yet need help with daily meal prep. We prevent food insecurity and provide peace of mind with daily check-ins. Meals delivered Mon through Fri, with the exception of major holidays. Available short-term (10 days min) or long-term. Option of 2 to 5 days per week. No age limit or income restrictions.

On World Food Day, we’re thinking of homebound neighbors who cannot get to the food they need. For 25 years, Meals on Wheels of Hancock County has helped close that gap with nourishing meals delivered to the door.

Before we could call it "25 years," this program was just an idea — one that Jill Carr, one of our three founders, helped turn into something real back in 2001. This photo is from one of the early gifts that helped get us there. Twenty-five years later, we're still grateful for every neighbor who believed in it before it had a track record.

❄️ Winter Designer Purse Bingo is coming to Hancock County! 👜

Mark your calendar for Thursday, December 3, at the Hancock County Fairgrounds. It’s our 25th anniversary year, and we’re celebrating 25 years of delivering meals and connection to neighbors in need with an evening of friends and bingo.

Think winter sparkle, a table full of friends, and the thrill of playing for gorgeous designer purses.

Your $50 ticket includes your bingo boards, one door prize entry, and dinner. Seating is limited, and tickets will not be sold at the door.

🎟 Tickets go on sale Wednesday, October 21, and we expect them to go fast. Set your reminder, rally your group chat, and get ready to play for a mission that’s been nourishing neighbors for a quarter century.

Board member Timothy Bryant first came to know Meals on Wheels when his parents relied on the program. What stayed with him was how much they looked forward to each volunteer’s visit.

That is why every route matters. A delivery brings nourishment, a familiar face and the reassurance that someone cares. 🚗🍽️
