So one of those precious puppies that was dropped in Martin has found a Super family who picked her up right from Terrell Veterinary Clinic after getting spayed and getting her first round of Parvo shots.

She was curious and inquisitive, really wasn’t too sure about the cats, but she loved the attention.

Audra and Jacob took her home and she played and played and passed out, feeling safe, loved and happy to have her forever home.

And yes she has sweet puppy breath.

Every donation that we get at the Shelter is precious. We have individuals who foster animals for us and take their time...

Every donation that we get at the Shelter is precious. We have individuals who foster animals for us and take their time and energy to help us find animals.

You never know when a person wants to donate when you take a call for the Shelter. A lot of times it is a dump dog, but we’re so full that we can’t take any. Most shelters can’t take any. But we still answer the phone and we still respond to messages.

Our amazing Angel today was Michael Morris. He and his family donated a bunch of meat to our Shelter dogs. I wish everyone could see the smiles on their faces when they get to eat all of this wonderful, local farmer provide provided, by Tim Davis meat.

Waldo, who is a rescue from the Shelter, is checking everything out. He definitely approves. We are beyond blessed by community angels.

And we have 31 wonderful dogs at our shelter or at our fosters. I will do a better job in this next week, thanks to Martin, our dynamo photographer and videographer.

There are two puppies here, about four or 5 pounds each that were dropped or wandering around the outskirts of Martin.

The person brought them in because he believed they belong to somebody, but nobody has claimed them. They’re both female and if these are your dogs, reach back out to Angie at Karin 4 Kritters..

If you would like to adopt one or both of these sweet girls ,Karin4Kritters K9 Rescue will sponsor their spay surgeries through Terrell Veterinary Clinic. Our local shelters are full, adoptions are down, so this is why we say, spay or neuter your pets.

We will have some spay and neuter vouchers available July 1. A post will be coming about it.

In the meantime, we have a couple of little scared babies who need a home

Since we had a water leak last night and Greenfield is now under a boil, the water advisory, I’ve had a few people reach out to me concerned about the Shelter.

We are just outside the city limits and we are on a spring, so I think we are good. I do have a call out to a few folks just to make sure that our water is still OK to give to the dogs. I think that.Halfway Home Animal Rescue, Inc. TN - HHAR is also good, but I’ll reach out to Amber and make sure that they are.

I love how this community pulls together and can be so considerate of their neighbors and their animals.

Please remember that if you are in Greenfield to boil your water or get some bottled water until this is rectified. Stay safe Greenfield

Thank you, everyone for playing the TREAT app. We get deliveries every Thursday. don’t mind Waldo, who is guarding the last couple of weeks delivery that I haven’t yet got to Kim. She mixes this in with our regular food. This saves us an amazing amount of money. And we are so happy that you guys are playing.

I play the game too, and I know that they’re not saying that the food is delivered. I have received messages and people are asking and I’m glad that you are. There are so many scams out there

But I want everyone to know that we absolutely do get food and treats. You do not have to buy the food, but they take the weight of the treats and add them all together. So if you do the free treats, and
for one week we have 100 pounds of treats, they would send two bags of dog food and then boxes of treats to make up the poundage.

They do not tell us in the delivery who gets wet food. I absolutely can see it in the back office. And all of our dogs are getting food and treats from you guys. There is nobody who is hungry.

I do have to add a few more dogs that we do have, please be patient with me. So if you don’t see Ana or Bobby or some of the other pups on our page, I have not added them yet to Petfinder.

We get weekly shipments of food and treats when you guys play the game for our Shelter. Waldo promises to guard this food from the cats, cause they are sneaky creatures.

Waldo wants to thank you personally for helping those who are still in the shelter. I started to foster him when he had a compound fracture and now he is living in his best life with his sister Sheba, also from the Shelter. Anybody who works at a shelter says they would take them all if they could.

Are you upgrading your pool? Or have some extra 5 gallon plastic buckets? We could use some at the shelter in Greenfiel...
