The Recovery Cafe of Hancock County We believe that everyone, no matter their past trauma, deserves to feel worthy of love and belonging.

The Recovery Cafe is a membership-based community meant to bring together those who have struggled with substance use, mental illness, incarceration, and homelessness to help them make the shift from surviving to thriving. The Recovery Café is a community of individuals who have come from all paths of life and have been devastated by addiction, homelessness, and other mental health challenges. No

matter where you are on your road to recovery, we are a place of support and stability. We do this by providing a beautiful, safe, warm, drug and alcohol- free space that comes with a loving community to anchor people in the sustained recovery they need to gain and maintain access to housing, social and health services, healthy relationships, education and employment.

Join Us for the 12th Annual Recovery Walk!
Recovery is more than abstinence—it’s hope, healing, connection, and proof that change is possible. We invite our community to come together on September 12, 2026, to celebrate recovery, honor those we have lost, and support those who are still finding their way.

This year's Recovery Walk will be held at Depot Street Park from 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and will feature:
✨ Resource Tables
✨ Food Trucks
✨ Face Painting
✨ Bounce House
✨ Photo Booth
✨ Community Support & Connection

We will also take time to honor the memories of Shawna Shelby and Julian Davidson, whose lives continue to inspire us and remind us why recovery matters.
Every registration, every step, and every conversation helps reduce stigma, raise awareness, and strengthen recovery support in Hancock County. Whether you're in recovery, supporting a loved one, working in the field, or simply believe in second chances, we would love to have you join us.
