People seem to have this conceptions on what rescues are actually capable of

I got a call yesterday from a woman in Knoxville TN who has a friend in Kentucky with over 30 dogs that are emaciated and not in good health.

She demanded that I leave my end of life Sanctuary to drive to Kentucky to get these dogs from her friend and bring them here

The fact is ! I am not paid by the state ! I am not paid by the federal government! I do not have any grants to help my sanctuary whatsoever

Did she offer her friend help?

Did she call the  humane Society in Kentucky ?

Did she call Shelter’s?

These irrational requests are getting out of control if people want help for their friends they need to step up

I am doing all I can but I am only one person caring for 18 dogs, two rescue horses and I can anymore do anymore

When people need help it is best to call for help within the state you are in

Lady is in desperate need of a new foster (her current foster is leaving for college ) can anyone help us foster ?

She has been outside mostly. Needs a chance to acclimate to being inside a home. Does not do good with cats. Does good with other dogs walks on a leash is sweet and loving. Spayed and up-to-date on shots.

There are no words to express the way we are feeling today 😭😭😭

Our sweet baby girl Ruex passed away last night at 10:00 pm

The tears, the sorrow the pain will not stop

This never should have happened 😡😡 and this is not ok

We will be reaching out to the shelter that adopted her out and demand they press charges against the murderer of our innocent baby
