Our adoption fee is only $100 for adult dogs, $125 for puppies, $75 for cats & kittens and includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, microchip and vet exam. On Monday, our Team Leader Jamie stepped outside to meet a cat brought to us by a kind couple who found her as a stray curled up in their flower bed. Right away, Jamie could tell something wasn’t right. Flower appeared to have recently given birth or still be pregnant, but sadly, we soon discovered she had experienced a miscarriage and was in critical condition. Thankfully, Dr. Bob happened to be at the shelter checking on some of our animals that day. Jamie brought Flower inside, and Dr. Bob immediately examined her. He discovered that Flower had a deceased kitten she was unable to deliver, causing a life-threatening infection. She was severely dehydrated and needed emergency care. Dr. Bob rushed Flower to his private practice, where she received IV fluids and underwent surgery. During surgery, it was discovered that her situation was even more serious than we realized, but this brave girl fought through it. 💕🌸 Stories like Flower’s are exactly why your membership matters. Because of your support, animals who come through our doors scared, sick, injured, or with nowhere else to go are given a chance to heal.

As a nonprofit organization that receives no tax funding, we rely entirely on the generosity of supporters like you. The Greeneville-Greene County Humane Society is a 501(c)(3) organization, and all donations are tax-deductible.

Box 792, Greeneville, TN 37744, visiting our website at gchumanesociety.com, over the phone at (423)639-4771 or stopping by the shelter at 400 N. Rufe Taylor Road in Greeneville during business hours (Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.).
