Welcoming Tyler to the team! Save the Date for Homecoming October 17th

We welcome Tyler B. Ricker to the Tusculum University family and our Office of Institutional Advancement!

Ricker is Tusculum's director of alumni and external relations. He is building on established relationships with alumni and ensuring others reconnect with their alma mater. He is also collaborating with fellow members of the Institutional Advancement team to draw additional financial resources to the university in support of our students.

He joins Tusculum after a productive career in human resources and finance. He achieved much success there and is now bringing his skill set to Tusculum. He has a great story to tell with alumni who have made their mark in the world and a university that has served local students and others from around the world for 232 years!

Today, our campus came together to live out this year’s theme: “We Are One” (Galatians 3:28).

Faculty and staff traded office attire for work gloves to join our Facilities team in preparing campus for the return of our students. Also, special thanks to Watuaga Orthopaedics for joining the fun!

From landscaping and power washing to cleaning residence halls and shining windows, every helping hand made a difference. We have an outstanding Facilities Maintenance team, and today was a reminder that the best things happen when we work together.

Teamwork isn’t just something we teach on the field or in the classrooms—it’s who we are.

We can’t wait to welcome our students back to our beautiful campus, where they’ll be prepared through active and experiential learning in a caring Christian environment to become career-ready professionals.

Here’s to a great semester ahead!

Proud Pioneer Partner Business Spotlight this month is the Creamy Cup!

Thank you for continuing to share how Tusculum Alumni have made an impact in the community!

Monday, I came to shop just to fix the air conditioner & a blessing, almost a sign really, showed up! This is such special family to us! Savannah went to Tusculum College (now University) & worked at the shop part-time. She graduated & actually worked for the college after graduation. At that time, we had just switched from selling Italian Ice to ice cream (bluebell). She asked if we could serve ice cream for her wedding, which was gonna be held on campus at the college. And, we said, "sure, since it's just gonna be across the street, no problem, we'll be there."... like, no big deal, one time thing... Well, the rest is history as they say! Word spread throughout her family/friends & we got going. We did not plan for this part of our business but God did. We've been so blessed to be a part of so many special moments with so many amazing families over the years. But, this couple got it all going. They work in ministry spreading the word of God & are raising 5 boys! (One not pictured) We love you Daniel & Savannah Manning! So, so grateful that we got to visit!
