Today, South Greene FFA wants to give a huge shoutout to all the hardworking farmers out there!
Being a farmer isn't easy. It takes a lot of hard work, long hours, and dedication. From getting up before the sun to working late into the night, farmers put in the time to make sure we have the food and other products we use every day.
We are especially thankful for all the farmers here in Greene County! Not only do they work hard to keep agriculture going, but they also support our FFA chapter and help teach the next generation about farming.
So today, if you see a farmer, make sure to thank them! We appreciate everything you do for our community and couldn't do it without you!
💙💛 Happy National Farmers Day from South Greene FFA!

Today our chapter attended both the Greenhand and C**T conferences.

At the Greenhand Conference, which was hosted by the East Tennessee Regional Officers, our chapter freshmen learned FFA fundamentals, how to be more active in our chapter, and how to collaborate and work as a team.

At the C**T Conference, hosted by the Tennessee State Officers our chapter officers learned how to problem-solve more effectively and how to work as a team, each working as different parts of the team

One of our own, Brynna Wilhoit acting as East Tennessee Regional Treasurer, helped put on the Greenhand conference.

We are so proud of Brynna for helping host one of these conferences, and we are so proud of all of our freshmen and officers who attended these conferences today.
