Literally don’t even know where to start with how proud we are of our BGC LIVE kids. 🥹💙
In such a short amount of time, these kids managed to put together an incredible show, and I wish everyone could have seen just how much work went into making it happen.
Every single cast member auditioned for their part, and they did so much more than just learn their lines. They helped with their own costumes, improvised parts of the script, added their own jokes and personalities to their characters, and even helped blow up balloons for the set. They really had a hand in putting the entire show together. It was also so sweet watching our older kids look out for the younger ones, helping them with costumes, practicing with them, and making sure everyone was ready to go.
Getting to know these kids throughout this process has been such a rewarding experience. They are funny, creative, hardworking, and unbelievably talented. Every single one of them brought something different to the show, and watching it all come together was incredible. We hope they realize just how capable they are, because there truly is nothing these kids can’t accomplish when they put their minds to it. 🥹
We were also so fortunate to have Bob Kesling in attendance for our very first production in the Bob Kesling Performing Arts Center. Having him there to support our kids and see them perform in the space named in his honor meant so much to all of us.
To our Club families, thank you for sharing your amazing kids with us and for coming out to support them. We are so grateful for the trust you place in us and for the opportunity to be part of their lives. We really do have the best kids around. Thank you to everyone who helped behind the scenes and everyone who came to cheer them on.
Of course, we had to celebrate all their hard work with a cast party,❤️🍨 We couldn’t be more proud of these kids, and we can’t wait to see what they do next. If this first show was any indication, BGC LIVE has a pretty exciting future ahead of it.
