AMEN!

✝️ Faith Friday

"God didn’t clean you up so you could pretend you were never messy. Your testimony is someone else’s hope."

It is so easy to fall into the trap of thinking we need to present a "perfect" version of ourselves to the world—and even to our community. We hide our struggles, past mistakes, and current doubts because we worry they make us look weak.

But grace isn't about perfection; it’s about redemption.

The moments where you stumbled, the seasons where things were messy, and the ways God met you in the middle of it all—that is where the power is.

Why Your Story Matters:
It Breaks Isolation: When you are honest about your journey, it gives someone else permission to say, "Me too. I thought I was the only one."

It Points to the Healer: A healed wound is proof that a Physician was at work. Your changed life is the greatest evidence of God's love.

It Bridges the Gap: Your "after" might be exactly what someone needs to see while they are stuck in their "before."

Don't hide the messy chapters of your story. They are the exact pages someone else needs to read to find hope for their own.

How has someone else's testimony helped you through a tough time? Drop a 🤍 or share a thought in the comments below!

We are seeking community sponsors to support our Su***de Prevention Month outreach efforts throughout September. Sponsorships will help offset the cost of prevention and awareness materials distributed at local high school football games and community events across Greene County.

These outreach items serve as conversation starters and reminders that help connect youth, families, and community members to prevention resources, mental health support, and local services. By partnering with Greene County Thrives, your organization will play a direct role in promoting hope, resilience, and mental wellness while helping raise awareness about su***de prevention.

Every sponsorship helps expand our reach, increase community engagement, and ensure that life-saving resources are accessible to those who may need them most.

🏢 HELP US FIND OUR FUTURE HOME!

Greene County Thrives is growing, and we're looking for approximately **2,500–3,500 square feet of centrally located space in Greeneville** for our future **Prevention & Recovery Center**.

The Greene County Thrives Prevention & Recovery Center will provide prevention education, recovery and family support services, community trainings, family programming, peer support meetings, and resource navigation services for Greene County residents.

This center will serve as a professional community space dedicated to **Prevention. Support. Connection.** and will provide a centralized location where residents can access trusted information, educational opportunities, support services, and connections to community resources.

We're not looking to duplicate services. Greene County is fortunate to have many organizations doing important work every day, and our goal is to help connect individuals and families to those existing resources while strengthening collaboration among community partners.

As a grant-funded nonprofit organization, we have funding available for leasing space and are seeking a location that is both functional and financially responsible. We are committed to being good stewards of the resources entrusted to us and are looking for a space that allows us to maximize our impact while maintaining long-term sustainability.

Greene County Thrives has been fortunate to call both the Greene County Partnership Building and Round Table Office Complex home throughout our history. We are grateful for the support we have received at both locations. As our programs, staff, and community services continue to grow, we have simply outgrown our current space. References regarding our tenancy, community presence, and history as a responsible community partner are available upon request.

We are committed to transparency and welcome questions from community members, business owners, faith leaders, neighborhood groups, and local organizations.

🎉 Big News! 🎉

You may notice a change on our page!

As part of our ongoing evolution, we are transitioning our public identity to Greene County Thrives.

For more than a year, you've seen us using as we worked to better reflect our focus on Prevention. Support. Connection. This next step simply aligns our name with the work we've been doing all along.

While our public-facing name is changing, our mission remains the same: helping individuals, families, and communities thrive through prevention, education, collaboration, and support.

You may still see references to the Greene County Anti-Drug Coalition during this transition, but rest assured—we're the same organization, with the same commitment to Greene County.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us. We’re excited for what’s ahead!
