There is a Hunter Education Course being given this weekend at the Rockdale Rod & Gun Club. You can sign up online here:

Student must be at least 11 years of age to attend the Hunter Education Course, unless he/she will, within the next year, hunt in a state that allows hunting under the age of 12 years. Check with the instructor as some restrictions will apply.

The New York NWTF State Chapter granted $6,500 to help fund the project, which is designed to enhance wildlife habitat, promote regeneration of climate-adapted forests and serve as a demonstration area for landowners and land managers.
