We salute all of the brave service members on this anniversary of D-Day

Today we commemorate the 82nd anniversary of D-Day. We honor the bravery and sacrifice of the Allied troops on the beaches of Normandy on June 6, 1944, a day that forever changed the course of history. May we never forget their courage and heroism.

Two years in a row and stronger than ever! 🎉

We were absolutely thrilled to team up with the Milwaukee VA Medical Center's Voluntary Service Office and the American Red Cross of Wisconsin for our annual Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW Day of Service!

Together, we hosted a wonderful picnic for over 150 incredible Veterans currently staying at the VA. It was a beautiful day filled with delicious food, wonderful fellowship, and lots of laughs—especially during our high-stakes horse racing game! 🐎

This unforgettable day wouldn't have been possible without our amazing community:
Scout Troop 506 ⚜️ – Thank you for crushing the set-up and helping with the games and clean-up!
VFW RIDERS GROUP WI-D4 - We greatly appreciated your help escorting Veterans and assisting them with navigating through the crowds.
Generous Donors 🎁 – Huge shoutout to our own Post & Auxiliary, American Legion Post 299 Auxiliary in Hales Corners, and the Franklin WI Lioness Lions Club for the beautiful raffle baskets!

Thank you to everyone who brought their energy and heart to make this day so memorable for our heroes. We are already looking forward to next year! ❤️🤍💙

Big news for our Greenfield High School community! Our AFJROTC unit (WI-951) has officially earned the Distinguished Unit Award for the 2025-2026 academic year.

This award recognizes the hard work of our cadets, the mentorship of our instructors, and the support of our local community. Out of more than 800 units worldwide, our program was identified as one of the best for its focus on personal growth and citizenship.

Please join us in congratulating our cadets on this achievement when you see them around the halls or in the community!
