The Friends of the Putnam County Public Library are a group of invested individuals who dedicate generous volunteer hours to supporting the library through service and fundraising efforts. The Friends of the Library are responsible for the library’s book store, regular book sales and promotions, fundraising events such as Touch-A-Truck, and managing fundraising partnerships such as Kroger Communit
y Rewards. Joining the Friends of the Library is a wonderful way to support early literacy, equitable access to resources and materials, and fostering a love of learning and literacy community-wide. Our Purpose:
*Maintaining an association of persons interested in libraries
*Focusing public attention on the Library
*Stimulating the use of the Library’s resources and services
*Encouraging and receiving gifts, endowments, and bequests to the Library
*Supporting and cooperating with the Library in developing services and programs
*Actively supporting the Library
*Supporting and promoting the work of the Library with the assistance of the Library Board of Trustees and the Library Director

*Halloween Party and Free Book
*Movie License
*Storytime: Baby and Toddler Time Events
*Culinary Programs: Cooking and Feasting Events
*Speakers, Authors, Artists, Musicians, and others bringing their work and/or areas of interest to the Library
