Thank you Chris Shafer of Putnam County Community Emergency Response Team (PCCERT), Chief Deputy: CERT is a 501c3 all-volunteer organization that provides secondary resources to first responders during times of emergency where additional resources are needed. CERT members undergo national-standard FEMA training in a variety of first response disciplines. She had been a member of the CERT team for the past 10 years.

Putnam County Project Lifesaver Program Administrator: She is of the 7 founding members of the Putnam County Project Lifesaver Team, established in 2021. This team is a subset of the PCCERT Team. Project Lifesaver is an international specialized Search and Rescue Program specifically for those with cognitive conditions such as Alzheimer's and Autism because of the often-associated tendency to wander and go missing. As Program Administrator, She is in charge of training, enrollments, equipment and maintenance, team and client records, and all things Project Lifesaver for our county. Since 2021, we've enrolled 30 families in Putnam County into the program and our team has grown from 7 members in 2021 to 31 members today.
