’Twas the evening before prom, and all through the school, every student seemed excited while trying to stay cool.

The centerpieces all packed up and waiting with care, in hopes that tomorrow great memories are shared.

DJ BK is ready with songs for the night, as excitement is building with morning in sight.

Though checklists grow longer and details still swarm, somehow we’ve pulled together a beautiful prom.

Now the dresses are pressed and the tuxes all steamed, and students are counting the hours, it seems.

So dance, laugh, take pictures, and make memories strong, because nights like this never last quite as long.

Senior King Candidate: Caiden Hankins

Caiden Hankins has made the most of his high school experience through his involvement in a wide variety of activities. During his time in high school, he earned four varsity letters in football and three varsity letters in wrestling while also participating in 4-H, the CDL program, and the National Honor Society. He is especially proud of overcoming a torn ACL and working his way back to sports. One of his favorite high school memories was being part of the ESPN show program at one of the basketball games. Known by his friends as funny, determined, and hardworking, Caiden enjoys spending his free time working on the farm and caring for his 4-H animals. Although he hates pictures and does not enjoy the spotlight, he has still embraced being a Homecoming King candidate as well as a Prom King Candidate. He enjoys country music and likes watching shows such as First 48 and Dog the Bounty Hunter. His favorite class has been CDL class with Mr. Williams and Mr. Doss. After graduation, Caiden plans to continue participating in an internship with Bane-Welker while pursuing a future in agriculture, with hopes of raising cattle one day. What he is looking forward to most about prom is spending time with his friends and arriving in a cool truck!

Senior King Candidate: Kyler Hankins

Kyler Hankins is a dedicated student who stays actively involved in football, track, and the National Honor Society. One of his proudest accomplishments is earning his CDL-A. His friends describe him as hardworking, outgoing, and funny, qualities that make him enjoyable to be around both in and out of school. In his free time, Kyler enjoys golfing and showing pigs. He credits Mr. Brothers as his favorite teacher, and after high school, he plans to obtain his drone license and start his own business. At prom, Kyler is most looking forward to spending time hanging out and dancing with his friends.

Senior Queen Candidate: Riley Huffman

Riley Huffman has been deeply involved in her school community through soccer, FCA, FFA, Key Club, Student Council, National Honor Society, and more. She is most proud of serving as captain of her soccer team. Riley cherishes the friendships she’s built through sports and school, and her friends describe her as kind, selfless, and humble. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, fishing, shopping, and spending time with loved ones. After graduation, Riley plans to attend Indiana University to study sports management and marketing. She’s looking forward to having fun at prom alongside her boyfriend and friends, making lasting memories.

Senior Queen Candidate: Hailee Daigle

Hailee Daigle has been actively involved in volleyball, NHS, basketball, Cougar Power, and softball throughout high school. She is especially proud of persevering through the challenges of high school and never giving up, showing resilience and determination. One of her favorite memories is the senior lock-in. Her friends describe her as competitive, loyal, and passionate. Hailee enjoys reading in her free time and spending time with friends, often going shopping together. She loves the song “Rein Me In” and is a fan of the High School Musical movies. Her favorite foods include seafood and spaghetti. If given the chance, she would have dinner with her grandmother. Mr. Henry is her favorite teacher and she plans to attend UIndy to study nursing after graduation. For prom, she is most excited about making lasting memories that she will carry with her for a lifetime.

Junior Princess Candidate: Cienna McCammon

Cienna McCammon is an energetic and kind student who has made the most of her high school experience through involvement in cheer and JAG. She takes pride in working toward her future diploma. One of her favorite high school memories is playing Just Dance in JAG with her friend Saylor. Cienna’s friends describe her as bubbly, outgoing, and kind. She feels grateful to be surrounded by wonderful friends and a supportive boyfriend, and she enjoys spending her free time hanging out with them or working. Her interests include listening to “Sexy Red,” watching Forrest Gump, and eating sushi. If given the chance to have dinner with anyone, she would choose Owen Thurman because she admires his value of not wasting any food. Her favorite class is JAG, which has clearly played an important role in her high school journey. After graduation, Cienna plans to pursue ultrasound technology. As she looks forward to prom, she is especially excited about taking pictures with all her friends.

Junior Prince Candidate: Owen Thurman

Owen Thurman is an active student who has made the most of his high school experience through athletics and leadership, participating in football, basketball, baseball, Student Council, NHS, and travel baseball. He’s especially proud of winning county championships across multiple sports. Owen values the everyday moments most—spending time with friends in class and the hallways—and is known by his peers as athletic, a hooper, and simply amazing. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports, hanging out with friends, and playing video games. He hopes to attend the Coast Guard Academy after graduation. At prom, Owen is most excited to hit the dance floor and enjoy the night with friends
