What a great start to the week!

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for burger night on Monday. Seeing friends, neighbors, and families filling the Legion is what it's all about, and we appreciate every one of you.

If you missed Monday, don't worry… burger night is back this Wednesday! The grill fires up at 5 PM, and we'd love to have you join us.

And while you're making plans for the week, give yourself a night off from the kitchen and join us for Thursday in the Park. Good food, good company, and a chance to support improvements to our local Legion.

This week's Thursday in the Park meal will help fund much-needed heating and cooling upgrades at the Legion. Come enjoy supper, catch up with friends, and help support your local Legion family.

🇺🇸 A Day to Gather, A Day to Remember 🇺🇸

Today was about more than pancakes.

On Flag Day, our community came together to share a meal, catch up with neighbors, honor our nation's flag through a respectful retirement ceremony, and spend time with the people who make Greenbush such a special place to call home.

As we look ahead to America's 250th birthday, days like today remind us that our country's story isn't only found in history books. It's written in small towns, around breakfast tables, in the hands that raise and retire our flags, and in neighbors who show up for one another.

To everyone who joined us, volunteered, cooked, served, cleaned up, and helped make today possible, thank you. Your support of the Greenbush American Legion Family and Post 88 means more than you know.

We hope you left with a full stomach, a grateful heart, and a renewed appreciation for the traditions that bring us together.

Here's to honoring the past, serving the present, and building a strong future for our community and our country as we approach 250 years of the United States of America.

🇺🇸 We're off to a great start at the Greenbush American Legion Post #88 Flag Day Pancake Brunch!

The coffee is hot, the pancakes are flying off the griddle, and it's been wonderful seeing so many familiar faces come through the doors already this morning. Thank you to everyone who's joined us and to all of our volunteers helping make the day special.

If you haven't made it down yet, there's still plenty of time! Stop by for pancakes, sausage, eggs, and good company as we celebrate Flag Day together.

🇺🇸 Flag Day is this Sunday, June 14. 🇺🇸

As America celebrates its 250th anniversary year, Flag Day is a chance to reflect on one of our nation's most enduring symbols.

On June 14, 1777, the Continental Congress adopted the first American flag. For nearly 250 years, the Stars and Stripes have represented the courage, sacrifice, and unity of the American people.

At the American Legion, Flag Day is especially meaningful. It's an opportunity to honor our veterans, remember those who served before us, and celebrate the freedoms and communities that make our country strong.

We hope you'll join us this Flag Day for our Pancake Brunch from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Greenbush American Legion Post #88. Enjoy a great meal with friends, family, and neighbors as we come together to celebrate our community and our nation's history.

Following the brunch, we'll hold a Flag Retirement Ceremony, providing a respectful and dignified farewell to American flags that have faithfully served their time.

Whether you stop by for breakfast, bring a flag for retirement, or simply take a moment to fly Old Glory at home, we hope you'll join us in honoring what our flag represents.

You asked, we listened and we couldn't be happier to say YES! We've heard so many of you asking us to open more, and honestly? That means the world to us. So starting now, Burger Night isn't just on Mondays anymore. We're firing up the grill every Wednesday night too!

Whether you're coming off the course at Oak View or just looking for a good meal and good company, pull up a chair. This is your place, and we're glad you're here.

Mark your calendars! Join us on Sunday, June 14th from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM to honor our flag and celebrate freedom with a great meal!

🍽️ Feeding the whole family shouldn't break the bank. At just $10 per person with a $30 family cap, mom, dad, and all the kids eat for one flat price. Come hungry!

A heartfelt thank you to our honor guard, our speakers, our musicians, and every volunteer who gave their time to make this morning's Memorial Day service so meaningful. And thank you to everyone in our community who came out to stand together and remember.

Days like today remind us why we do what we do.

We are grateful. We remember. We will never forget. 🇺🇸
